Based on recent statistics, the count of people aged 100 and above in the UK has doubled from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
From 2004 and 2024, the total of male centenarians has tripled from 910 to 3,100. Over the same period, the amount of female individuals reaching 100 increased by nearly 100% from 7,400 to 13,600.
We are eager to listen to those aged 100 or over, their family or friends, about what it has been like to experience the past century’s transformative changes and changes.
